First post and the start of something new

Hello fellow readers. So far I guess it´s only me and that's ok. But who knows, perhaps soon more people will like to read what I´m posting.

This blog will be about me and my growing army of Cygnar, of the tabletop game Warmachine. For you that don´t know about it, Warmachine is a game of huge warjacks (robot and tank in one) that together with there controller, the warcaster, try to beat the opponent. they got help from units and solos that support them. It´s a game with models in the 30mm range and works together with the game Horde (imagine instead of big robots, you got big monster). Cygnar is one faction of several and they are humans that are fighting for king and country. With them they have ordinary hard working men and big, angry and nasty warjacks that are the best in the world.

That´s the main theme of this blog and what the basic will be about. Perhaps I should post a little bit of myself. I´m a man in my thirties that started with war games in the end of the eighties. Mostly it has been Games workshop games like Warhammer 40k (got four armies. chaos daemons, chaos space marines, space marines and eldar) and Fantasy (got one army, wood elves) but also smaller games like Blood bowl (four teams, khemri, goblins, humans and dark elves . But I have also played other games like Secrets of the Third Reich (have a french army group, based on British rules), Flames of War (Italians mid-war) and Uncharted Seas (Shroud mages). I also play many other board games and computer games.

In my gaming group Troll we have just started warmachine. I first bought Menoth but didn´t like fanatics throwing bombs on people that didn´t believe like them. So I switch to Cygnar and got around 25p of them. They are so far my main army.

The army itself will grow slow. Thats because my wallet is very small at the moment and so far I only got around 25p! So this blog is about me slowly showing of how my army grows, how I paint and other things like battlereports etc. I will not post every day but will try at least to post as much as possibly. It will also be a slow growth as I want to paint everything before I buy something new

Also good to know that I´m from Sweden so my english could be a little bit off. I´m sorry for that and will try make it as good as I can, specially for people that has english as mothertounge. I´m married and have a daughter of soon to be two years old and work in the healthcare system as a therapist here in Stockholm, Sweden.

p.s The Strategic Academys is the name in warmachine for the main training center and the force that comes with new weapon against the enemies of Cygnar. The SA provides officiers with history, tactics, engineering and philosopy. All this is intersting things, that I will write about and that´s why I chose that name. A place to learn about Warmachine and Cygnar.
